I am super excited today. Tomorrow will be my second show on Mythical Music.This weekend was supposed to be the second SANESA Qualifier, but after some difficulty of finding a new venue, it was postponed. Now, I am going to Fourways Equestrian Club’s Training show.I had a rough week preparing.
I had a rough week preparing for the show. When I rode on Monday, Mythical was very spooky and ran with me. On Tuesday he was quite fine but on Wednesday, eish… He gave my grandmother a huge fright after bucking and running at the fence, and me almost falling. I must say I sat the buck really well. 😉 On Thursday, I lunged him and the dogs chased him, resulting in a nice galloping exercise with a few bucks in between. Yesterday, he was so tired after all the exercise, that he was so sweet. he did not do a thing wrong. I had to work him hard that he can learn that being naughty will have a result of harder work. I went to ride him today too. I think he wasn’t very happy to see me, though. I think he must have thought, “Not you, again…”
When I reached home after riding, I had to clean my tack. Today was the first time I cleaned my numnah with an actual reason. (for the first time it was actually white on top with sweat) I had to clean my boots and gators, wash M’s boots and check that I have everything for tomorrow.
I have a good feeling about this show.
